北京的秋天，天气正好，我们的第一场微现场演出在新出土的小院子里举行，意外的竟有一小群观众捧场。演出时间接近傍晚，三位表演者——阿科、佳怡和雅龙分别演奏了小提琴、扬琴和乌德琴，三种不同的弦乐器。演出以阿科的声音实验开始，在傍晚的微光中，她和小提琴的拉锯展开一场声音张力的探索。紧接着是崔佳怡的扬琴表演，一开始，她直接地用扬琴呈现巴赫的前奏曲和赋格，在缓慢的推进中，演变成对声音和动作两者之间关系的结构。雅龙（Arian Hu，在QQ音乐里有更多作品）是一位目前定居在北京的叙利亚音乐家，他带来了独特的乌德琴，演奏了一些传统作品。当他自弹自唱一首传统小夜曲时，他两岁的女儿在一旁呼应，最为抢镜。休息片刻之后，三位表演者带着他们的弦乐器开始了一场即兴演出，司滕和晓磊以呼麦的方式加入到音乐中。微现场系列表演非常鼓励不同音乐流派、风格之间的交流融合，未来会有更多创新的现场表演。

阿科 Ake

Beijing’s gorgeous fall weather brought an amazing turnout for our first ever Tiny Space Concert in the newly excavated courtyard. The late afternoon performance featured three performers: Ake, Cui Jiayi and Arian Hu on various stringed instruments – violin, hammered dulcimer, and Oud, respectively. Ake’s sound performance with violin, which started at the approach of twilight, explored an aural tension between a player and her instrument. Following was Cui Jiayi, whose in initial straightforward treatment of Bach’s Preludes and Fugues became a slow-motion plunge into a decoupling of the relationship betwen sound and action. A Syrian musician now residing in Beijing, Arian Hu brought a rare oud to perform traditional compositions. His two-year old daughter was the real scene stealer as he strummed and serenaded the group. After a break, an improv session materialized among the stringed instruments with Theo Stapleton and 晓磊 throat singing and joining the fray. The Tiny Space Concert series actively encourages the cross-pollination of diverse musical genres, styles and influences. More transformative events coming soon.

演出结束后 POST PERFORMANCE:

演出之后的第二天，我们被告知前一晚意外出现的30多名观众似乎打扰到了隔壁楼的邻居。我们不太理解为什么他们会讨厌露天的聚会，但我们也不想计较太多。以后的“微现场”系列会在室内举行，敬请关注！

The morning after the performance we discovered our “amazing turnout” of 30+ people seemed to have riled the neighbors in the adjacent building. We do not fully understand their deep-seeded resentment of open-air gatherings, but we are not taking it personally. Future Tiny Space Concerts will be held indoors until further notice. Thank you.
